I am waiting for this engine to show up on the Panamera, which should give that new M-Sports Tri-turbo Diesel some good competition. It would be great if Porsche grows even more balls and gives this engine(or maybe a version of this) to the light-weight Macan as a diesel rival for whatever the GLK-AMG might throw at it!

The new V6 should be pushing atleast 313-horses that the VW-Audi versions use and the 4.2V8 in upgraded guise should naturally produce in the range of 400 horses given the standard output per liter, very good times for performance and diesel-economy to go hand in hand, just a little sad that the new BMW 335Diesel will not make it here in the states since it already pushes over 300Bhp elsewhere, with lesser weight and a better gearbox :(
