Though Steve Jobs May Not Be With Us Anymore, His SL55 AMG Remains

Though we may have lost the forward-thinking Steve Jobs in October, it seems that his Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG is still around.

The only reason we know is because a story appeared that said his wheels, sans license plate, is sitting curbside outside of his modest Palo Alto abode.

Aside from that, fans of the late great still are swinging by his former pad to pay their respects.


Fans continue to make the trek to the late Steve Jobs’ home in Palo Alto, California to pay their respects. The Apple co-founder’s silver Mercedes SL55 AMG is still sitting without a license plate outside the 5,768-square-foot home he lived in for many years...

This is now the saddest car anywhere. It is another item that reminds us what an incredible person he was and what a profound loss it is for all of us, even for the people who are not exactly Apple fans.
