Room For Improvement? Subaru BRZ UK Specs Surface

Subaru has revealed details of the UK specification for the Subaru BRZ, the long-awaited 2+2 coupé that will go on sale in the spring.

The rear-drive 197bhp pocket rocket will be offered in three trim levels –standard and top-spec models as well as a hardcore, stripped-out variant aimed at track day enthusiasts.

Top-specification BRZs will get 17-inch alloy wheels, a torque-sensing LSD, front, side, curtain and knee airbags, MP3 connectivity, dual-zone climate control and LED daytime running lights.

Agreed, nice bang for the buck. The aftermarket is going to be all over this one. Who else makes a light weight RWD car at this price? Reminds me of my old e30 BMW. That car is a blast to drive.

Adding a turbo would increase the price about 5 grand. I like the simplicity of this car. I am guessing that it will be cheap to maintain.Once you add a turbo and extra plumbing you significantly up the maintainance.I would hope they can squeeze a little more HP out of it as N/A motor.
