The Roller-Family gets some new members! (Rolls-Royce)

As we all know Rolls-Royce is a highly sought-after automaker. There cars are wonderful. The Phantom has always thought to be the presidential heirloom car. Rolls has decided to expand their market of vehicles.

Let’s start off with the 100EX: The heir to the Corniche tradition, this four-place convertible will be powered by the same 6.7 liter V-12 in the Phantom. It will also share that car's basic aluminum space frame architecture.
Even is his heyday Vanilla-Ice would have trouble affording this car. The estimated price is between a whopping $400,000-$425,000. The Corniche name isn't certain, but why would Rolls-Royce not want to use such a graceful name to appeal to the world’s rich and pompous community. Expect to see this car on the roads in Mid-2007.

Second in line is the Rolls-Royce 101EX: A coupe version of the coming Rolls-Royce convertible. It lays ten inches shorter that its Father-car the Phantom-which it is based on. The 101EX would probably make it to the Marque's list of top-dollar items, but it still won't be as expensive as it's sister car the 100EX. The Rolls-Royce board meets in November to decide whether or not to build the 101EX. The answer is most likely yes according to a Rolls-Royce executive. If the board agrees to build the 101EX expect to see it on roads in early 2008.

Lastly we move onto the last model to arrive: A Rolls-Royce small sedan-which name has not been verified yet. A smaller more affordable member of the Rolls-Royce family based on the next BMW 7-Series. The $250,000+ sedan will use a modified and possibly twin-turbocharged version of the 6.0 liter BMW V-12 rated at nearly 550 hp. According to Rolls-Royce, the company aims to make a hole in the market, instead of trying to compete against companies like Maybach and Bentley. They plan to slot the new sedan in between the Maybach 57 and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. R-R hopes to sell 3000 units each year. We hope to see this sedan on the roads by 2009.

Nice I like the Rolls-Royce look. I wonder if they are ever going to have to change the way their cars look. Nobody could get away with copying these cars. (Well except for Ralph Gilles: the desinger of the Chrysler 300C)

I thought the 100EX and the 101EX are the same. because the 100EX is older in on year than the 101EX. BTW they built these cars coz 100-101 years of rolls royce. ( 1904 i think ) But this looks really cool. i saw this pic a year ago in Autocar mag. Good job BMW!

It's another beautiful car from Rolls-Royce. BMW has done a great job of updating the classic design themes.I have seen many Phantoms, and almost everyone agrees they look much better in person than in photos.
