Cadillac Says Lexus Will Be The Next Casualty On Their Quest To Catch The Germans
General Motors Co., having regained global sales leadership from Toyota Motor Corp., is planning new Cadillac models to more than double sales and surpass the Japanese automaker's Lexus brand as the No. 4 luxury line.

Chief Executive Officer Dan Akerson is pushing the automaker to turn Cadillac into a global player with the scale to better compete with German leaders BMW, Volkswagen AG's Audi and Daimler AG's Mercedes- Benz.

When you are given $50 plus "BILLION" dollars of tax payer's money, while Buick is barely putting a dent in the luxury market, the Volt is a lost cause...I guess Caddilac shit talking is next on the adjenda.
