CAR WARS! Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac Or Infiniti. WHO Has YOUR Favorite Coupe?
Back in January we started the CAR WARS segment and it has turned out to be very popular.

I think it's becuase it's a great forum to discuss the rides that are top of mind right now in the industry.

Today, we tackle the UNDER 60k premium coupe segment.

Audi A5, Infiniti G37, BMW 3-Series, Cadillac CTS and Mercedes E.

All fine rides but in the AutoSpies.com CAR WARS battle their can only be one winner.

Make your choice and rank the rest top to bottom please and explain WHY your winner deserves the TOP BILLING.

The Car Wars Are On!

Tell us who wins THIS battle and why your pick deserves it?

To make it easy, make sure you tell us who looks best, drives best, offers the most bang for the buck, is the most reliable, has the most cachet and which offers the best customer experience through their dealers.

And remember, hundreds of thousands of people per month are coming to AutoSpies.com to make their buying decisions based on YOURS and OUR opinions.

Plus ALL the auto manufacturers read yours and our opinions and take them VERY seriously.

Because in the premium segment WE are the tastemakers!

So give them GREAT advice by telling them what turns you on and where they need to improve!

If we're sticking to "under $60k", then I'd go:

335is
E550
S5
335i M Sport
A5
328i
G37
CTS

If we're adding in cars just over $60k, stick the M3 on top. CTS-V would up there too but then you're starting to get away from $60k.

Audi A5, Mercedes-Benz E Coupe, Cadillac CTS Coupe, BMW 3 Coupe, and then the Infiniti G Coupe.

In that specific order. Technically, the CTS Coupe and E Coupe are not even in this category. Cadillac doesn't have an entry and Mercedes is the C Coupe, correct me if I'm wrong. With that aside, this is just my personal preference. No need to deboost me folks.

The E-class and C-class coupes both use the C-class platform. The C is cheaper because its interior isn't as nice and it can be had with smaller engines without going AMG.

Absolutely the A5, Walter Desilva single handily redefined the whole automotive design industry, especially with that car. Everything from the kick-out front bumber, to the designing of the inner headlights, to the levitating tail-lights, the suit-like body crease, the wheel arches...the thing somehow looks like an american muscle car in an Italian suit. Absolute classic, and nothing in this list come anywhere close to it--in terms of style anyways.

Favorite Coupe? That's easy, The Lexus SC430. A vehicle that was way ahead of its time.

The SC430 was a convertible.

That turned into a sharp, sporting, hardtop coupe when the roof was raised. Best of both worlds.

"VW EOS would be the top choice since it has a combination of glass sky roof that's retractable, and a full convertible option."

Wished more was like that. You can go "targa" or full top-down.

3 series is my favorite. I have had the pleasure of driving all of these vehicles and I always went running back to the 3. Just something about it feels right. The steering, the balance, the braking, accelerating, just overall control. Just because it may not have major style points, long term you would leanr to appreciate everything about the vehicle.

I'm choosing right now i have a G37. Tested BMWis and Mercedes E class. Concerned about the punch if the 335. Limited exposure in the test drive. The E is great looking and luxurious. Leaning toward the E unless I can find out more about the pop in the BWW. the E lacks. the Infiniti is priced much cheaper and the highest horepoer. its now in 4 whell drive and 7 speed.
