Lutz Says Republicans Root Against Volt Because Rush Limbaugh Told Them To. TRUE Or FALSE?
What is unusual about Lutz's latest verbal crusade is that he continues to identify himself as a political conservative, even reminding Fox's Volt critics, "I spent 11 years as a Marine attack aviator trained and ready to take out Communists during the Cold War."

Asked why conservative Republicans seem to be rooting against the Volt, Lutz replied in an e-mail that "they all deeply believe that the Volt is (President) Obama's personal product program, because Rush (Limbaugh) told them so.

So let me get this straight. You and Larrybel2000, see that it's possible for the media (David Brock/Bill Maher) to influence liberal opinion, but not conservative ones? Fools.

The correct answer is, "true" but it's important only as a sad indicator of how the masses on both sides of the political spectrum are being informed and influenced. Turn off the TV, liberal and conservative idiots, please.

And he wrote the Lutz quote, too? Or is Lutz being politically influenced by David Brock?

Who care what Rush says. False. Unlike liberals who form popular opinion from Bill Mahr and Saturday Night Live, Republicans can decipher fact from fiction.

I’ve never seen a politician apologize to Bill Maher or anyone from the right for stepping out of line. I've seen several Republican Politicians apologize to Limbaugh for not agreeing with him. What you are saying is complete and utter nonsense. When in fact the opposite is true. You guys like to create and live in your own reality.

Congressman Phil Gingrey apoligized to Rush for telling him to back off from being so critical of Pres Obama. He realized he made a mistake.

So the GOP does answer to Rush Limbuagh. You've just proved my point and disproved your own. And that wasn't the only GOP member that apologized to thier leader Rush Limbaugh.

Volt is simply yet another failed car that came out of GM, and anything that comes out of this garbage company. This car was nothing but another cover up to rip the tax payers money and bankrupt this country, plain and simple.

@LexSucks I just acknowledged that it did happen. I never said Republicans were perfect. However; Rush has a huge following unlike any of the schmuck liberal talk show hosts and a small percentage may follow every word he says. Thats just the nature of being #1. You should run out and buy a Volt as soon as you can.

#1 on AM radio. Do people still listen to AM radio? When he gets a TV show we can talk.

I understand people criticizing some aspects of the Volt (obviously price, not always getting 40 miles on a single charge), but all the negative hype is ridiculous. We wouldn't want to get any facts about what Volt owners are experiencing now would we?

Isn't price and mileage the main point of the Volt?... these are not just "Some" aspects, these are the ONLY aspects for buying this car.

Volt idea was good on paper, but the price ruins any economic savings effect for most potential buyers. I understand the technology (huge battery) is what makes it expensive but it can't compete this way against the Civics (and even Chevy's own Cruze) of the world. When the price comes down from the stratosphere to be competitive to the average Prius, it will do better.

a childish (or really stupid, take your pick) comment by Lutz. I don't care how he tries (too hard) to qualify himself as a conservative (his motivation is PROFIT...kinda overrides his political view). Even if I DID listen to Limbaugh, I have enough character to form my own opinion, specially in the automotive arena.

Dumb and worthless article.

More cry baby acusations from the mentally retarded left. The left believes the public has no brains and cannot think for themselves. The left thinks only the select few know how YOU should live, think, spend and act. That is why they work to control and take power FROM the people.

The left doesn't understand many things including America and the independent freedom loving citizens. We enjoy hearing Limbaugh but that doesn't mean he directs us. We think for OURSELVES.

If you love your freedom and the America we fought for, you better vote obama and his socialists OUT of office in November or you and children's future will be mortgaged and controlled.
