Prius C Only Takes Three Days To Outsell Volt And Leaf For The Month
Toyota says in the first three days since sales began March 12, it sold 1,201 units, eclipsing Nissan Leaf's 478 units sold and Chevy Volt's 1.023 units sold in the entire month of February.

“A number of factors drive the auto market, and fuel prices is one of them,” said Bob Carter, group vice president and general manager of the Toyota Division. “With 53 miles-per-gallon in the city and priced under $19,000, the timing for Prius c couldn’t be better.”

different class of cars, all three, most people can only afford to have one car. the leaf and volt are for families with more than one car. The volt and leaf are new science, the electric and extended range electric car will get better. the wright brothers didn't invent the 777 out the box

Exactly, different cars will sell different amounts. You can say that the Ford F series outosold all Prius C sales in three days or some other randomm fact. But this doesn't change the fact that the Prius C is not an electric or a plug-in and the Ford F series is not a hybrid. Basically it only says that more people will buy trucks right now than hybrids and practically no one is willing to buy a full electric vehicle currently.

Nisan can claim that it outsold all Toyota electric vehicles for the months in one minute.

What kind of batteries, electric motors and controllers did EVs use over a century ago? When did these change and how? You think there may be any "new science" involved?

I'd love to hear a "Short History of EVs" by espia.
