Public Apology: Toyota chief 'sorry' for worry

The president of Toyota Motor Corp. apologized Thursday for the "worry" that a past defect in its Hilux sport utility vehicles, which resulted in bodily injury, have caused its customers.

Watanabe apologized for letting down customers and acknowledged that many customers have questioned the automaker's product safety.
