I have a hard time taking this "comeback" talk seriously or getting entusiastic about a company that has enjoyed the benefits of *TWO* multi-billion dollar government (AKA Tax Payer funded) bail-outs. Maybe I'm weird that way.

The first bailout was not on the "Tax Payer". It was private monies that were funded. The Gov just backed the loans. Also Iacocca had created a slush fund of over 9 billion for Chrysler so they would not have to be in a bailout position in the future. That slush fund went to Diamler and we all know what happened then.
