How can BMW top the M3? IMNSHO: Keep on being BMW! They don't need to read Audospies or some keyboard critics' opinions to be better at that.

Not quite sure if I should laugh at the Julio Iglesias voice reference...or be a little suspicious that you didn't choose say Catrinel Menghia.

- variable turbo boost control
- introduce carbon fiber (hood, roof and trunk)
- AWD with user controlled distribution ...so you can set it to 100% RWD

How to top the current M3? They can get rid of the current M3s POS interior.

The M3 interior is fine. They just need a high gloss carbon fiber to match the roof. The BMW interior is simple, but very cockpit like in the right direction. Its not all cluttered like an Acura with a million buttons. The quality of materials are way better than the Audi. I know because all of my friends complain about their Audi interior and love my BMW interior.

The M3 needs to return to its roots: fast, agile, light and purpose built. Hopefully BMW's return to the DTM will help them produce such a car; either by desire or rules of homologation.

If it's based on the new 3, then that's near impossible considering the new 3 is a bigger car, bigger frame, etc.

What you're looking for is a 1 series M.
