SPIED: The BMW M135i Is Spotted Getting A Work Out On The Track
Now that BMW has gotten over the M brand being a religious experience, it's pumping out more M-ified products than ever. You can't really blame it, either. The M-inspired cars are always the best ones.

Now there are M sport-utility vehicles, M Performance diesels -- who ever thought THAT day would come(?) --, the M Sport models, and then there are the M Performance Parts.

Since we know that the upcoming M6 and M6 Gran Sport are next to debut, it looks like BMW is moving to its follow up, the M135i. Following the success and admiration of the 2011 BMW 1M, you had to know that this was coming.

Speculation insists that it will have a motor producing around 300 horsepower out of the box and will be retrofitted with the choice of an eight-speed automatic or six-speed row-it-yourself box.

I don't care for the new headlight treatment - looks un-BMW.

"The best thing about the F20 is that the car is "distinctive" which of course can translate to some of you as another term for ugly.
But in Europe at least , there is only one mold for this segment and that is the Golf. Every C-Segment competitor is all about matching the Golf and then again I can bring up lack of originality again.

The 1er is not only distinctive it is also original. A true BMW, RWD concept and soon with xDrive and a sportier 3dr option.
BMW M. are excited about the M135i purely on the basis as this is an entirely new concept , there has never been a BMW to establish a high end Euro performance hatch like the Audi S3 and Golf R and now here comes the M135i and M have not only tuned the engine. They have worked on the steering , tuned the dampers and extensively worked on the chassis to make sure this car is not forgettable."-Scott26
