High mileage cars can be an enthusiast's car.

But to call a Prius an Enthusiast's car... thats why I don't drive a Toyota...

Good point, geveva. An enthusiast is one who is enthusiastic about cars within the context their varied purposes--economy, utility, performance, luxury, value, etc.--and realizes that no car meets all these needs. (Though I must say, there are a enough Prius-owners who feel they own the road to make you realize that an asshat can't be defined by his preferred car anymore than an enthusiast can.)

When you live in California and gas is $4.50 a gallon, this car is exciting!!!
By the way, it won't break down much either!!! That excites me too!!!
If I lived on a race track and didn't have to pay so much for fuel, I would have a different opinion.
