NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: Meet Hyundai's New Santa Fe Before Anyone Else!
If you have already been out and about skimming the net for details on the all new Hyundai Santa Fe, then you were looking in all of the wrong places.
One of our operatives just happened to slip in on a video shoot of the new model hours BEFORE it is to be released to the press. Sometimes your are just in the right place at the right time and you don't ask questions, you just shoot away like you belong there.
So feast your eyes only the only live shots of the new Santa Fe and remember, you saw it here first.

It looks cool, too much wheel gap though! I think Hyundai failed with the Veloster, dont get me wrong, it is a nice concept, but when I drove it, no power! I think they should have used the development bux they spent on it, to make a nice roadster. A 300hp rwd one. They have to come better than that if they want to impress me.

I think the black fender trim design give the illusion of a big fender gap. Its really not that big when you look closer.

The Back reminds me of the new 2013 ACURA RDX, nothing better than borrowing an idea :D other than that it looks rather nice.

Overall, its not bad. Not in a market for a Hyundai, or an SUV, let alone a Hyundai SUV.
The only criticism is the lack of original ideas. Looks like a compilation of an X3 front and an Infiniti rear...

Looking through the 2012 NY Auto Show pics in the Autospies gallery, it seems the Santa Fe will come in both short wheelbase and long wheelbase models. Look through the pictures to see what I am talking about....so no more Veracruz?
