German car companies Volkswagen , Daimler and BMW are against any sort of European Union intervention that would help companies shut down excess automotive factories, carmakers' lobby group ACEA president Sergio Marchionne said on Wednesday.

i agree with them. why should the pay for others' failure? the french, italians and others make crappy cars that nobody wants.

why didn't they complain about GM .. wheh US tax payers bailed out GM they were heavily protected even amongst the scandla of the dodgy volts..
