NY AUTO SHOW: WHICH Vehicle Was The Biggest LOSER At The Show To YOU?

NY AUTO SHOW: WHICH Vehicle Was The Biggest LOSER At The Show To YOU?
At the 2012 NY Auto Show, there were plenty of new product announcements.

Since the economy meltdown in 2008 even though you may personally dislike certain cars, most new ones have been pretty darn good products, advancing the individual brands.

But unlike other shows where it's been hard to pick a show LOSER, this year's NY Auto Show debuted MULTIPLE losers in our opinion.

And what's amazing is that the companies who uncovered these losers in NY had plenty of time to see what the movers and shakers like Hyundai, Ford and others were doing with ground breaking iron.

We'll ask YOU to pick your LOSER or LOSERS of the show and then we'll give you our opinion.

Here is the full list of what was new for you to choose from:

Definitely the Honda Crosstour.
The Acura RLX was kind of a disappointment too.

Yeah the RLX just didn't live up to the expectations, the interiro look like it is out of a minivan.

The Acura for sure. All others have their following and will be fine, but the Acura is too expensive and will not be able to compete with anyone.
Wait... I forgot about the Donald.

The Acura looks very awkward and clumsy, as does the Crosstour. Both are disasters and will flop in the marketplace. Also, Chevy's new Impala will compete nicely against Chevy's own Malibu. SShheesshh.

Please, as a HUGE fan of the original Acura Legend your claims about us hating Acura and not covering them are so untrue.

Any thinking human being would look at the steady demise of this great brand and not blame it on hate but because of consistent lack of good product and BONEHEAD executive decisions like getting RID of their MOST recognized model name, the LEGEND.

One reason we don't have coverage of their product launches is because we are NOT invited because something you will learn is that the Asian companies MOST OF ALL are tremendous manipulators of the automotive media.

Print GOOD news about them and everything will be fine.

Tell the truth and give a REAL opinion and you are off their list. Period.

It's ALL about CONTROL.

Don't believe us?

Go read the original reviews of the last generation RL in the big car mags.

NO ONE was critical of it and just kept their mouths shut.

But we can tell you without question that of ALL the cars we have driven in the HISTORY of AutoSpies.com, the last RL was the BIGGEST MISS EVER.

And WE WERE RIGHT.

SALES SUCK.

Now to add insult to injury, they have had 7-8 years to look at the mistake, see the greatness of Hyundai, Kia, Ford, BMW, Lexus, etc. and you would have thought this RLX would have been a swing for the fences effort.

Like the transition Hyundai and Ford just did move from one generation of Sonata and Fusion to the next.

The NEW Sonata and Fusion are 100% amazing and beautiful after their truly mediocre predecessors.

But NOT Acura.

They do the play it safe move in the absolute WORST time in automotive history to do that.

Are you kidding me? This thing looks like an LS600 hybrid gone WAY wrong.

Trust us, this thing is going to do NO better at dealers than the last one which was miserable.

In fact, after surveying six Acura dealer principles around the country yesterday, ALL told me felt out it was hideous and they cannot believe this was the best they could do.

We have NOTHING against ANY brand, it's always about product.

And Acura has NOT helped themselves here.

AT ALL.

Every shape or line on Lexlus appears to have melted in the sun.
Every shape is distorted or sagging. Not appealing at all.
