Suzuki Taking On Water And Future Starting To Look Bleak

Struggling Suzuki is shrinking in many ways.

Insiders say the company is slashing marketing while sales and the dealer roster dwindle.

The many signs of trouble:

-- In a market up 13 percent through March, Suzuki was down 2 percent to just 6,561 sales.

-- The brand skipped the Detroit and Los Angeles auto shows this year and suspended social media activity on Twitter and Facebook two months ago.

Where the hell is the Swift? That car alone could save Suzuki. Bringing it here would generate publicity, just because it would compete against such a quirky car as the Cooper, and possibly defeat it in comparison tests.

Also! Up here in Canada, the manual-transmission and FWD versions of the Kizashi were just cancelled...
...so I'm not recommending it to anyone anymore. The stick-FWD combo was the best Kizashi. What happened to the rumored V6 variant?!

there was supposed to be a turbo and kizashi i thought was a partnership with VW
