Hot new option coming for the 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Reliable sources tell the Spies that Toyota is considering a panoramic roof option for the 2008 FJ cruiser.

Here's some pics of one with an aftermarket roof installed so you get the idea.

We think they should also consider this two-tone seat package as well...

You can't beat it for that price.

A stripped base FJ is a steal at $22,000 (if you can even find a stripped FJ for MSRP) and would easily hold its value forever.

The roof is very cool, but the seats I could do without. What the FJ cruiser really needs is an Army green color option. That would make it look less like a lego toy and more like a serious FJ.

Please tell me where I can get this roof job done. I test drove this car, and although it was remarkable, I got claustrophobic real quick with the small windows and interior. This roof option would be nice. Before I buy an FJ (and I really want one) they will need to do two things: they need a seat color choice besides black--it is way too hot (dessert sand or putty would be good choices), and the back seat passengers need to have overhead handle grips like the front seat (see the inside3 picture of the glass roof above)...it is too dangerous to offroad with backseat passengers when they nothing to hold on to.

Have you all been able to TEST DRIVE the FJ?
On the seats you have options - they are black, but you can have the black with breathable mesh, stain and odor resistant. I have had TWO a 4x2 and a month later took it up a notch with an All Time 4x4. You can have most dealerships change out your seats in a WE OWE as a part of your deal and if they have a company that installs moon-roofs, dvd systems, etc they will have it installed post-purchase. Did you know that they can have your toyotas built to specs?
