STUD OR DUD? Lamborghini Urus Details Emerge - Can It Give The Cayenne A Run For The Money?

The first images of the Lamborghini Urus SUV have leaked ahead of its unveiling at the Beijing Motor Show next week.

The images shows angular lines that are clearly influenced by the Estoque saloon concept, making it one of the most aggressive SUVs around. It’s expected to rely heavily on carbon fibre, given Lamborghini’s speciality with the material, which should save weight and improve rigidity for better handling.

We should all wait until a good automotive photographer has a presence with it in the company of a good camera.

The design is definitely very avant garde, but I applaud them for taking a chance in an unconventional styling direction. I love that they are pushing to introduce side-view cameras instead of mirrors. I hope it make it past the various regulatory bodies and into production.

Thanks to the pioneering design of the daring X6, Audi can now play with a similar design and probably wont get all the sneers and jeers that BMW had to endure in the beginning.

Hard to tell size from these images but I expect it to be 185-190 inches long. Looks like it has a good amount of ground clearance and air springs would give it a good range as well.
