RENDERED SPECULATION: BMW's Next-Gen M3 Gets Imagined
BMW just wow'd many of the automotive world's critics with the launch of the all-new 3-Series. But for some, the 335i's 300 horsepower, forced induction inline six won't be enough.

In the words of Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson "MORE powerrRRRrr!"

That being said, one of the businesses most revered products is the BMW M3. Given that the BMW 3 typically sets the entry-level luxury benchmark, and the M3 typically does the same, we're expecting VERY big things of the new M3.

Considering the significant investment in carbon fiber manufacturing, we're expecting that the upcoming M has a greater emphasis on lightweight engineering and returns to an inline six powerplant.

From what we've heard from the spy videos, we think that's a good possibility.

But how will it look?

Well, if you'd like a good idea into that you should first take a look at the new 3-Series with the M Sport kit. Following that, spend some time looking at the new M5 and M6 and blam-o(!), you should have a decent idea of how the next-gen M3 will shape up.

In the rendering's defense it is clearly based off an M5 and has M6-inspired front vents.

meh... that's just an M sport 3er with an M side grill... you can bet that the central part of the lip will be an upside down "U"
