Lets not get a head of ourselves. BMW 3 and M3 is to be reckon with. I doubt this car can de-throne the M3 (specially with the hefty price). The C AMG still has to prove best in class first.

Lets not get a head of ourselves. MB C and C63 is to be reckon with. This is some tight competition with the boys at the BMW camp. The interior will probably look better than the 3-series. Exterior wise it will look smoother than the design of the 3.

I like both cars though. Both are fast and both make a sexy sound. We'll see who beats who. Either way both cars you can't go wrong with.

2 different markets for M3 and C63.

C63 buyers don't care about the whole hi-tech handling experience. They just want a luxurious sports sedan that kicks major butt from 0-60 and has a cool badge.

M3 is about more than 0-60 or luxury. I don't believe the 2 markets overlap much. The M3 will mostly likely give a harsher ride as well.

Stick Shift is only for purist people, SMG is a real hit if you are looking for a great Spot Driving Machine, M3 will be better than the C63 in that field, But ony for a few tenths. I'll pick the Merc, but if like Sport you won't go wrong with M3 plus SMG.

It is very hard to tell what the actual C will look like since MB has done so much work to disguise it. One thing that is good is the 6.3l amg engine.
