Mercedes At Odds With Formula 1 Chief - May Leave Series
A spat between two Britons could drive the German giant Mercedes out of formula one, according to a new media report.

F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone recently confirmed he is at loggerheads with Mercedes over the next Concorde Agreement.

But at the same time, he insisted that the Stuttgart marque is “very important to formula one. I have always supported them and I will always,” he is quoted by Auto Motor und Sport.

Indeed, Mercedes has its own and newly-winning works team, powers the marquee McLaren outfit, and also supplies engines to Force India.

Ecclestone’s dispute is with fellow Englishman Ross Brawn, who is the Brackley based Mercedes GP team’s principal.

Why would you put a Mclaren Mercedes when the article is CLEARLY about Mercedes GP?

Idiots

Clearly you are very knowledgeable about F1. The article and problem is only with the Brackley based Mercedes GP. Mclaren has already signed the Concorde agreement. The only thing that mentions Mercedes pulling out of F1 entirely is merely speculation. Learn to decipher facts from speculations.

Next time you open your mouth, or type in this case, perhaps you should consider more carefully what you say, because you have confirmed that you are very naive. And FYI, just because Mercedes owns less than 20% of Mclaren does not mean it justifies putting a Mclaren Mercedes as representative of an article about Mercedes.

That is a vintage McLaren photo there; it has the viking horns on top of the airbox and the Cruise-ship vents on the side pods.

I spy a BMW and a Toyota as well.

Members of Mercedes board want Mercedes out of F1.

Here's an idea - how about a Mercedes F1 team that is based in Germnay and uses German engineers just like the old days?
