Mercedes may regain No. 2 premium sales position from Audi by 2015, report says
It appears that Mercedes-Benz will get the second spot as the world's second-largest manufacturer of luxury cars in 2015, at least according to the German newspaper Handelsblatt who cited forecasts from the Center of Automotive Research at the university of Duisburg-Essen in Germany.

I'm sure they will and capture the #1 spot from Bimmer a couple years after that. Mercedes is the only luxury German manufacturer with major design distinctions between class which will be something they can play with for upcoming generations.

Ha ha keep dreaming. The industry's little secret is that Mercedes has been stuck on approx 1.2 million cars sold worldwide since the year 2000..In that same time BMW and especially Audi have exploded and blown by!!
