Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz regained the U.S. luxury-vehicle sales lead for the year over BMW Group's BMW brand with April deliveries rising 24 percent.

Not a surprise. Have you seen the leases Benz is running? They're ridiculous.

JRobUSC the reality is that all of them have been giving away cars for years with attractive leases IOT have the sales crown. LEXUS of Jacksonville has called me numerous times to trade in my LS 460 for a great deal on the new GS. The car just came out, WTH? I have been reluctant on purchasing a new one since my car has been paid off for a year now and I have requested a job transfer OCONUS. The past few years have been the best time to purchase a new home or a new car.

Even Americans are wising up to the sham known as Lexus. If Lexus can't sell cars to Americans what are they to do? We already know that Europeans don't want to have anything to do with Lexus. I doubt that you will ever see Lexus on top again. The cars are too stale and people are wising up. They had a good run though (only in America).

Which leads me to this. If America is all that matters in regards to sales (according to a user here), and Lexus is now behind BMW and MB; that means that Lexus is unable to attain number one status even in the country in which its cars were designed for? Funny

But LexSucks is 100% correct.

I usually do not agree with him but i cannot argue with the fact that the USA is the market that ALL LEXUS VEHICLES are designed for.

Amazing. I thought Beemer would win total sales with the superb new 3 series. Perhaps it is too early in the cycle for the just now released 3 sales to register.
