Land Rover Confirms Faster Sport Version Of Evoque In The Works

Land Rover is planning a faster and sportier edition of the Range Rover Evoque, likely to be badged Evoque Sport, Auto Express has learned. The news surfaced during an interview with design director Gerry McGovern at the Beijing Motor Show.

“You can go too far with the Evoque, but what’s so right about the car is it has what I call killer proportions,” McGovern said. “For the moment, we’re looking at the cabriolet and special editions – we could do a more overtly sporty one, for example.”

Lexus RX looks "nicer"?? It is as bland as they come and has barely changed its appearance in the last 10 years! If you were saying Audi, Porsche or BMW I'd agree, but the RX has never looked better than bland. At best, it's a conservatively styled car for housewives who don't want to draw attention to themselves.

If you're saying the interior of the RX is nicer, then that's something else, or if by "nicer" you mean better equipped, I'd also agree, but as far as exterior appearances, the RX is not going to beat out the Evoque.
