Romney Decides It's His Turn To Take Credit For Auto Industry Success
Campaigning in the backyard of America's auto industry, Mitt Romney re-ignited the bailout debate by suggesting he deserves "a lot of credit" for the recent successes of the nation's largest car companies.

That claims comes in spite of his stance that Detroit should have been allowed to go bankrupt.

It was the Bush and Obama administrations that saved the auto industry. The loans allocated to them under the TARP program saved the big three from going under. Ford didn't take any money from it, but had GM and Chrysler gone under, they would have gone under as well because of the disruption of suppliers. Romney is a clown who is counting on his fundraising so he can carry on the big lie.
