Should There Be A Driver's Competency Test To Own A Supercar? Gallardo Crashes After Driver Pushes Gas Pedal Too Hard
A Lamborghini Gallardo supercar has been recently crashed in California after its driver pushed the gas pedal too hard and eventually lost control of the wheel.

Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we have always said here on inautonews.com and we still think that people need a different driver’s license for powerful cars. The latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from California, where a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at wreckedexotics.com, the Italian supercar in question has hit the wall after travelling too fast and the result way what you can see in the image posted above.

There's a driver's competency test to own regular cars and look at all the idiots on the road currently! It will not help... Its all about human error and people just not respecting or knowing the limits of the cars.

Its a shame that many people have these cars and have zero ability to drive.

Not to mention aftermarket wheels and tyres that actually REDUCE the grip and handling levels of the vehicle.

Only a Monumental Fool would think that some aftermarket manufacturer would have a setup that performs better than the actual Vehicle Manufacturer's setup.

Not talking about the wheels on a Camry, we are talking Supercars.

You're wrong! Even a niche performance oriented brand like Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini, de-tune their vehicles so that average idiot, including those with more cash than some small countries, can drive them.

There is a reason, besides more cash per vehicle, that all of these manufacturers offer increased performance variants of their models; i.e. Supperleggera, Challenge Stradale, RS, etc.

Why do thing Ruf, Callaway, Lingenfelder, Hennessy, Brabarus, etc. exist?

Listen Mate.

How many Ruf, Brabus or Edo Competition Modified Vehicles do you see on US Roads ?

Damn near almost all modified Supercars i see on US roads were modified by companies like "West Coast Customs" or others of the same calibre.

How many of those companies have access to Wind Tunnels for testing ?
How many have access to High Speed Tracks for High Speed Testing ?

All they do is fit the Largest Diameter Rims and lowest profile tyres that can fit on the vehicle and some louder speakers and Viola, your car has been "Pimped".

Look at the Rims and tyres on that Gallardo in the picture above. Do they look like a Lamborghini Approved set ? Even the LP 570 Superleggera has higher profile tyres and smaller rims than that in the picture above.

But what do Lamborghini Engineers know.
The guys at West Coast Customs and other bullshit mod companies know better.

Agree with I95...

Just because you throw on some rims and low-pro tires doesn't mean its good. The tuning companies certainly do not just throw on wheels and aerokits and call it the day. They retune the suspension, recalibrate every little details, and even then, they have just a small, minute fraction of the engineering of an automotive company.

So yes, while I agree that there are certain companies that are able to modify cars and do a decent job, it is still no comparison the the manufacturers. Otherwise, these tuning companies would just make their own cars rather than tune existing ones.

Its probably an idiot who saw one too many pimp my ride shows or someone who saw too many rap video and think they can be as cool...
