Why doesn't every Porsche 911 have this option?

One of the great features on this generation and the last generation Porsche Targa, is the pop up rear window that gives you easy access to the back seat cargo area.

Rather than having to open the driver door and then having to lift up the seat handle before you can put your bag or whatever back there...you just hit a button on the key and the rear window pops open, then you can lift the glass and throw your stuff in the back.

Then, you just gently push the glass down and the glass window automatically 'soft closes' tightly, without having to slam it..

I wish they would add that feature to all 911's!

Yep, agree to that! This feature has been around since the last 996 Targa in 2002, but for whatever reason Porsche has not implemented it to the rest of its line.
