C63 AMG by Edo Tops out at 213 MPH
German tuner Edo Competition is offering up a new power kit designed specifically for the Mercedes C63 AMG. The result is an enormous power increase from the stock output of 457 HP / 336 kW, bumping power to 600 HP / 441 kW. In addition to the added horsepower, torque output growns from 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) to 680 Nm (501 lb-ft), helping propel the Edo C63 AMG from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds (before hitting a top speed of 213 mph). Making the magic happen, some of the new toys include a new high-performance exhaust system with programmable electronic controller, exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, new air filters, revised engine electronics and the removal of a top speed governor.

This is EXACTLY what the world was missing: A station wagon that does 213 MPH! I can't figure out why Mercedes isn't mass producing this hot little number ;-)

The C-Class wagon is mass-produced. But it won't sell in America. Just look at the successful sales of the GLK in the States. People are buying that instead of wagons. Even if the C-Class wagon were offered in the US it wouldn't be a success. It handles better and gets better gas mileage than a GLK - Americans don't like that! LOL :-p
