EXCLUSIVE: Is this the Audi Q5 in disguise?

Probably no. The Q5 will probably be built on the modular Audi platform. From what I heard the Tiguan is Golf based, but that was a while a go, maybe it has changed. But both will be good vehicles.

I have also heard that the Tiguan is Golf based. But who cares if the Tiguan and Q5 are related. Both will be excellent vehicles. and dont forget the gorgeous audi interiors :]

Audi is moving away from VW.
Appart from the A3 and the TT the platforms are all Audi.
They will share less and less stuff together.
I highly doubt that the Q5 will be based on that platform. It will be the new A5 platform which is also, as Chewy said, the new modular platform.

Audi has already stated that the Q5 will be gased on the "NEW" A4 mod platform. The Q7 shares 18% of the components with the VW and Porsche. It has a unique frame, electronics from the A6, Existing quattro, engine and breaks from the A8 ...
