Feds To Focus On Drunk Driving  - How Long Until One Of THESE Is Standard On YOUR Vehicle?
The National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday called for a renewed push to cut down on drunken driving deaths.

The number of deaths from drunken and drugged drivers is down from 18,611 in 1988 to 10,228 last year — and down from a high of 41 percent of highway fatalities.

They make between $3500 and $10,000 a pop for a DUI charge at the local local municipalities. There is no way the governemnt will stop that money train by putting breathilizers in cars to cut down their big tick revenue generators! They care about "saftey" and bigger government. They will just increase the fines probably.

Hmm.... the feds are currently debating the best way to ban cell phone usage in the car for over 3,000 deaths a year.

For the 10,000 associated to drunk driving this is an easy choice.

Unfortunately, it always seems that the drunk ones kill whole families, and live to drink and drive again.
