RENDERED SPECULATION: Will Mercedes-Benz's Next-Gen C-Class Take Inspiration From The A-Class?

If you were to speak with many auto buyers and were to ask them "Which entry-level luxury car would you seek if you wanted something sedate, comfortable and subtle?" we'd wager that most would answer the Lexus ES or Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

That's because they fit the bill.

However, as we've seen with the radically changed ES, times are changing. Cars are embracing sportier characters -- even when their history doesn't have anything to do with it -- and subtle shapes are becoming aggressive.

That said, when we saw this rendering of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class we had to share it with you. It looks like the artist took some inspiration from the upcoming A-Class and included some design characteristics from other late model Benzes.

IF the next-gen C were to take after this rendering, would you give it a standing ovation or say "back to the drawing board?"

I love the C class, but the next version needs to flow more like the upcoming models. The C class needs more tech as well. This model is behind most US domestic non-luxury models in tech at this time.

The next gen C class will dominate just as the rest of the Merc lineup is.

Watching Mercedes is like doing algebra! A + 1 + C/A = C + 1 + C/A so A=C
