And The WINNER Of The Concept Car Award At Villa d'Este Goes To...
As if you really should be surprised...
It's easily one of the most unique and gorgeous designs to make a debut in the past 12 months. And while Aston Martin took last year's concept car award home, this year was for the Italians.
Alfa Romeo's 4C beat the Aston Martin AM310 concept to the punch when it came to the judges decision.
You can't blame them either. This Alfa will seduce just about anyone.
When we first set our sights on it at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the 4C was something incredibly unique. Its lines are nearly perfect in all directions and every body panel just works. What's truly amazing is that it looks stunning without trying too hard, which is a common problem for many auto designs in this day and age. While attempting to woo attention, most vehicles lose their dignity and class. Not the 4C.
Topping it all off is a matte red finish that's just "to die for." Cliche? Absolutely, but I don't care.
The poor Aston Martin didn't even stand a chance when compared to sex-on-wheels Alfa.

Don't think me weird but I feel as though the girls that pose with these cars are not needed. They add nothing at all to the effect. I'm sure many of them don't even know the name not to talk of the features and capabilities of the cars they stand next too. Besides they sometimes obstruct what could be a great photograph of the car.
Nevertheless, the AR is a great and deserved the win. As a BMW fanboy I thought the z4 Zagato was beautiful, but this takes the throne

That beak of a grille ruins the entire car for me. I know it's a trademark, but it's still absurdly ugly.

Am310 is far superior.
