Drop Top GT86/BRZ May Enter Production In 2014
Toyota and Subaru are expected to make a decision soon on whether to put a convertible version of the GT86/BRZ rear-wheel-drive sports car into production.

Toyota GT86 project engineer Tetsuya Tada confirmed that a convertible version of the car was “technically feasible”. Given the engineering work already undertaken and the likely popularity of an open-top version, particularly in California, a production convertible is almost inevitable, and could possibly be on sale as early as 2014.

New GT86/BRZ convertible nice, but used Honda S2000 convertible better and cheaper, straight or curve road.

Well this S2000 is well break in already while the BRZ may not. Nevertheless the 9000 rpm redline certainly helps S2000 in straight line.

However I'm not sure if it curves better. From all the reviews it seems FR-S is more balanced, while BRZ has quite a bit of understeer built in, so I'd like to see comparison of FR-S to S2000 at corner, or even with RX-8.
