Eight Reasons Why The Detroit Three Aren't Out Of The Woods Just Yet

The evidence is all around. The BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands study from market research company Millward Brown ranks six automotive brands among the top 100 across all industries. BMW is the auto leader, followed by Toyota and Mercedes. None of the six are American.

Detroit has a tendency to bet on the come. Like the fans of the old Brooklyn Dodgers, its motto is "Wait `til next year" -- the longstanding belief that the arrival of a new model will cure everything. But the next three years are studded with the same kind of issues that drove the domestic automakers to the brink in 2009.

How about reason No.9: Chrysler proved to us that a bailout does not "cure" a failing Mega-Enterprise. It's only temporary life-support until the next round of bail-outs. I'd call that "not out of the woods."

Oh man, not another subject about domestic cars. Hmm, it's something that I can't understand why. Our auto products are the worst when compared to their competitors, and the reasons what makes them worst are known for decades not, but as if the American auto industry leaders don't want to fix it, or truly don't know how?

Mark my word, when electric auto industry flourishes by the likes of Fisker Karma, the American brands will again sink to the bottom for the same exact reasons, bad quality, reliability, appearance, performance, etc...

The simple question is, why?

Yes is true my questions is WHY too. Koreans the last on line start to copy Germans design and now people like more theirs cars , why domestic can do te same , because hey show us,a lack of capacity to make even a decent copy. Even Ford that suck safety and some design from Volvo that's why they bought it , still lack of quality, and refinement at all , and people feel afraid to get one of this instead Japanese and now include Koreans.
Why we permit this, we are losing our position of World Lider First Powerful Country and because we want, is very sad.
We give all mean neccesary to China to become more powerfull. Why , I really don't know but I feel very sad.

try to imagine what a stinking bucket of poop this country would be without Germany, Japan and Korea.

1) the air would be black with pollutshun. children grasping for air if not for leadership from Europe and Japan cleaning up emissions

2) we'd still be flying through plate glass winsheilds without seat belts. No technology from Germany that gave us airbags and ABS braks. thousands of extra deaths every year.

3) All cars would be vulgar and ugly, unlike tasteful designs from Europe and Asia.

You have to wonder what we were fighting against in the 1940s? better ideas from other nations?
