It's a chop, but I think it looks pretty neat.

I really hope that Benz does not bring this car to the USA. The C Class hatch back is hardly a "sports coupe" and the current model that they no longer sell in the USA screamed CHEAP. IMO the car did nothing to support the brands identity.

Front looks like the new CL and from the c-pillars onwards looks a lot like the Lexus IS.

Well waiting to see the real photos,but we already know that it will look a lot like the new S and CL.
So this pic is surely giving us an idea.

I believe this pharase is proving with new models and time that, NEW MB's are loosing their identities.

JUGNU----->THE CARMAN

Not this crap again. Why is MB making cars like this when 3er is so much better. Isn't competition suppose to up the Anti? What strategy is MB following? I would not even test drive this hatch back for free.

First of all, this car isn't even out yet. Secondly, you can bet your bottom Dollar that this thing will in all likelyhood be vastly improved.

Third, this car was designed to attract younger buyers to the Mercedes' brand and having driven them, I can attest that they're sporty enough for most people.

The European comepetitor, the 3-Series Compact is butt-ugly IMHO. If they had only used the headlights of the stock 3-Series, it would be better looking. As it is, it's ugly. This C-Class SC photoshop looks good IMO.

I agree with BMW530i

It gave a younger and more youthful choice for the younger youth group. Lets not forget this is the first car to have the full electric panoramic glass top which tilts and slides. A lot of innovations had gone into this car and had move the industry forward.

this car is quite popular in Canada

Thanks for agreeing. :)

To me, the C-Class Sportcoupe is the kind of car wealthy parents buy for their son or daughter, or a young professional buys themselves. It isn't aimed at purist drivers, so it is unfair to compare it to the BMW 3-Series sedan for instance.

In Europe, the 3-Series Compact is the natural competitor of the C-Class SC. As much as I like BMW, I also respect Audi, MB, Lexus etc. and I have to say that the A3 and C-Class SC own the BMW 3-Series Compact in the looks department.
