Romney Says No More "Loans" For Technology That Automakers Should Be Developing Anyway

I can hear the voice of oil companies coming out of Romney's mouth. You know a president like that will be tossed around by lobbyist for the length of the presidency.

I suggest you do a study of the UK in the last 10 years to see ample evidence of how Government Agencies trying to pick "Business Models" have managed to achieve a 100% failure rate.

The smartest business people in the world do not work for Governments, they work for Private Businesses.

If a particular type of Tech is not affordable or efficient enough that it requires Government assistance to skew the marketplace, it means it is either too early to introduce it into the market, or it is the wrong tech.

Think about it. if you did not get subsidies and loans you would not be able to bring your product to the mass market fast. These kind of subsidies are given lots of companies all the time.

And if you argue that Oil cheaper energy then i will add that coal is even cheaper. but that is not the issue.

To get better product out there sometimes you need to spend a little bit and when the price levels off you can remove all subsidies and loans. The whole point of these subsidies to manufacture green products.

Lesson 1.

UK Household Energy Bills are at least 30% higher {Lots of Evidence to prove this} because idiotic politicians were convinced that Windmills were the future for electricity generation.
These idiotic politicians and their special advisers then came up with a plan to create "Green Taxes" which are levied on all Electricity Users and passed on as subsidies to companies who produce electricity with windmills.

What these MONUMENTALLY STUPID people never bothered to research was the small fact that the windmills were not capable of producing any electricity if the wind was too much, too little, or non- existent, hence 90% of the time in the UK. Worse yet, in order for the gears and other parts in the mill not to seize up they have to be kept moving when there is no wind so it actually CONSUMES electricity from the grid.

Last but not least, because our energy demands are not dependent on the availability of wind, there has to be back-up Coal Fired Electricity Power Stations constantly running to provide Base Load and that is actually a very inefficient way to create electricity.

So the only people benefitting from this particular scheme are the:
Politicians {No doubt some serious Bribes were paid out}
Special Advisers {See Above}
Climate Experts { Lots of Fees for bullshit meetings}
Wealthy Landowners { Long Term Lease Agreements for the land the Windmills are sited on}
Bogus Green Power Companies {Heavily Subsidized Profits}

While the truth is the actual Carbon Footprint has undoubtedly be massively increased {At least 20%} for maybe 1% increase in "Green Energy", Ecoloons and politicians will waddle around pontificating that they are saving us from ourselves.

Another guy with a penis-compensation car (who admits to speeding in his user name) is telling us not to care about the Earth. What a surprise. :rolleyes:

How embarassing it will be if aliens ever land on Earth and realize we still get energy by burning things... like cavemen.
