SPIED: The BEST And CLOSEST Spy Pics Of The All-New Porsche 911 TARGA Sporting The MOST Clever Camo Yet
Now when an automaker is developing an all-new product, they typically throw on some camouflage in order to throw off spy photographers and gawkers alike.

They use swirly vinyl wraps or matte black paint jobs, sometimes they ADD extra body pieces or will even use parts from other vehicles. While this makes things difficult, it is usually pretty obvious where they're going with the production product.

Porsche, on the other hand, has really thrown us for a loop with its all-new 911 Targa. That's because it has camouflaged the vehicle as a convertible. And it's done pretty damn well if I do say so myself.

The only real tell-tale sign that this is a Targa is by the "roll-hoop" like B-Pillar. I would expect the remaining back-end of the car to have a hard-top structure but as you can see, Porsche is keeping it very tightly sealed for the time being.

For the time being, there's no question that these are the BEST and most CLOSE-UP pictures of the 911 Targa to date.

Why disguise it all as everyone already knows what it's going to look like.

There hasn't been a single 911 'design' surprise... EVER!

"Surprises" are overrated and more often than not, unpleasant. When was the last time you were surprised by BMW? Oh yeah, the Bangle Butt, the clown shoe M Coupe and let's not forget the GT5 or X6 - all controversial, and largely disappointments.

Weren't you surprised by the Ford Flex? How about the Scion xB? The Aston Martin continues to be popular because of its continued design elegance and lack of surprises.

I"m not saying all surprises are bad (there have been quite a few Ferrari/Lambo head turners), but it is a numbers game, and the odds are against surprises being a good thing.
