Romney Wants To Ban Japan From Free-Trade Talks Due To Protected Auto Industry
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney doesn't support including Japan in free-trade talks, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

U.S. automakers are sharply opposed to allowing Japan into the Trans-Pacific Partnership talks. They argue that the Asian nation hasn't done enough to open its market to U.S. auto exports.

"Governor Romney does not support including Japan in the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations at this time," campaign spokeswoman Sarah Pompei said. Unbelievable! Why do we blame other nations for not opening their doors for our bad cars?? Why don't WE FIX our cars and make them true competitors then Japan's doors will automatically be opened just like they for German cars!

East Asian countries are notorious for closing their car markets. Japan hardly lets any in, S.Korea just only started this year. China only lets you sell cars their if you teach them how to build them so they can come back and sell the same car at half price.

A better idea would be to not trade with them and see how quickly they come begging.
