LAST Chance - The Lexus LFA Is Almost There And SOLD OUT
The Lexus LFA has been through a whirlwind of controversy ever since word leaked that Lexus was working on a supercar project. Then it was driven with mostly positive reviews though some questioned its performance figures -- fools. Lastly it launched to the public and was harpooned like a bloody whale.

Then the conflicting claims over whether the vehicle had, in fact, sold out became a target of discussion. Well, I guess we can finally put this one to rest as a publication is reporting that the LFA is about to be sold out with the allotment remaining in the single digits for the carbon fiber supercar.

To quote Ferris Bueller: "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

Horsepower keeps climbing, sports cars outperform each other year after year and with so many new toys breaking into the market it’s hard to keep a sense of wonder about any of the latest supercars – a problem Lexus tackled differently than the Italians its LFA competes with.

That approach was never a secret, but the reality is finally coming into focus as one company official reports that the remaining cars available for sale are dwindling into the single digits.

With less than 10 left, the fortunate few who can afford the car’s $375,000 had better scoot to own one...

I guess there is a reason I haven't seen one on the road yet, no interest in my area. I live in Chicago and grew up in lake forest. the land of aston martins, ferraris and maseratis.

Ahh... the highly scientific "If I haven't seen one it must be unpopular." There are 500 in the world!!!!! I guess if you haven't seen one it must be like the Loch Ness Monster or the Yeti....or a clue.

I have seen three.

The one I drove and a couple on the auto show circuit.

With a global production of 500 and around 170 coming to the U.S., I don't think many will be popular, anywhere.

I recall one poster seeing one in SoCal and a silver one spotted in the Southeast -- I think South Carolina or Georgia.

Dude~!! Trust me, the LFA's will be gone after a short while and Toyota will be readying It self for an even meaner & faster LFA. They know they have to smoke the ZR1 & the GT-R to seriously get the attention of those hard-core serious buyers. Remember now, they already have quite a few famous + wealthy fans that had to be selected by Lexus Corp. before they could even think about purchasing an LFA.
