Should Jeep Grab A RAM By The Horns And Private Label Their Own "JEEP" Pickup?

Should Jeep Grab A RAM By The Horns And Private Label Their Own
Now I'll be the first to admit I am not much a truck guy. I live in suburban New Jersey. It's not like its the back woods here. This is the land of hybrid Lexus RXs and BMW X5s, for crying out loud.

However, when I did get the chance to experience the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee when it made it's debut, I was excited. Both the V6 and V8 models were impressive. So much so that I wondered "Why bother with the Mercedes-Benz ML anymore?"

This got my wheels turning, specifically after I saw what Jeep could do when it put its mind to work with the JK8 Independence.

After speaking with Agent 001, who knows a ton about trucks -- he did live in Buffalo, after all -- we were left wondering: Would it do Jeep some good to create a private label "Jeep" pickup?

With the Wrangler's already extensive all-terrain capability, new motor and sturdy build, could Jeep effectively create a badass, low priced, well-rounded pickup for the masses?

Spies, discuss!

They did this already with the Comanche back in the 80s, it was not terribly popular.

In this form its limited to a nitch market. I would rather buy the 4 door its based off of. I hope they dont try to flood the market with these. Good luck Jeep.
