Wow, okay I think you missed the point. The article is saying that a 360hp car is more "fuel" efficient (in this case battery efficient) than the Fit EV.

This would be like having a 600hp Gas/Electric that is more efficient than a Prius. The conclusion, Tesla has some pretty awesome engineers.
