SPIED: Is MINI Looking To Continue Expanding Its Lineup? All-New 'Traveller' On The Way

This week, our spy photographers snapped a prototype model of what is believed to be a test mule for Mini's first venture in the competitive compact MPV segment, which some sources say may be named 'Traveller' when it enters production within the next two to three years. 

The largest and most spacious Mini model to date will be based on a stretched version of the Countryman's platform, something that explains the extended wheel fenders on this test mule wearing the crossover model's body shell.

I like the idea of a fun to drive and economical people mover, not sure who else is into this... After all, usually when you want to move people, they brings stuff n junk and where is that going to go in a MINI... Hmm... Guess they are targeting MINI families with this idea

Interesting remark about "where is that [junk] going to go in a MINI" because I found the Countryman's boot particularly small.

my point exactly Agent00R, they are MINIs so they are inherently limited on space.... thus targeting MINI families :) this people mover if built will not be the one you pack the family of six and their belongings in for a long haul, more like a short one unless you use a roof box maybe (for the junk) :)
