Can Lincoln have the Cougar? I think GM should do that, combine all their platforms under the GM brand but then still have Pontiac GTO, Trans AM, Buick Rivera, Olds 442 etc... Ford/Lincoln... do the same...

They're not pushing for it, this is a done deal as it's necessary to achieve minimum volume. Plus, Lincoln is DOA without a RWD platform. Count on it.
