ONE Car, ONE Tunnel - Given The Chance, WHAT Would YOU Want To Drive Through A Tunnel At Break-Neck Speed?

ONE Car, ONE Tunnel - Given The Chance, WHAT Would YOU Want To Drive Through A Tunnel At Break-Neck Speed?
For all of the trouble we give the buff books, I have to admit. Once and a while they do something right. Well, almost.

According to these clowns, Mercedes-Benz loaned out nine of its illustrious AMG products to a buff book. It scored two more AMGs and decided to do something that is arguably one of those late-night, genius ideas. Take all 11 AMGs and drive through one of Detroit's tunnels.

Considering that AMGs are usually equipped with those burly V8s and exhausts that crack, pop and growl we knew this would be an interesting clip. We weren't let down. Until we saw that Car and Driver did let the camera car sneak into the shot.

Like I said, they almost get things right.

More importantly, we're just a bit curious -- if YOU were given the choice of ONE CAR and ONE TUNNEL, what and where would it be?

We take nine Mercedes-Benz AMGs to the tunnels of Detroit to create a glorious symphony.

CARS: Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series coupe, Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG wagon, Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

I'll lead the pack tonight.

A Ferrari F355 GTS fitted with a Capristo exhaust in New York's lovely 1st Avenue tunnel. Perhaps the Battery Park tunnel as well.

:)

You know while I respect the GT-R its sound doesn't light me on fire.

It sounds good but not exotic enough.

I agree a stock Nissan GT-R does Not sound that Great that's why I said a Nissan GT-R with a Meisterschaft GT Exhaust Section 1+2 (Y-Pipe) Did you even click on the lick to see it in action on youtube?

It sounded like a Freaking Ferarri or Lambo.

It DEFINITELY sounds NOTHING like a Ferrari or Lambo.

It sounds like a highly modded VQ, nothing more nothing less.
