If Audi Did Something Like THIS To Their Avant's Or SUV's Would YOU Buy It?
As I was was surfing the net today I came across this odd photo which in turn brought me to a cool little site called 'myfakecars'.

Basically, it's a blog with artist renditions of cars the guy would like to see or imagines.

So when I saw this 'Woody' Audi I was intrigued and wondered if Audi did something like this could they pull it off and would people buy it?

He called it the 'Black Forest Edition'.

What say you Spies?

Could companies like Audi leave the comfort zone and start offering more interesting takes on their rides and find success?

And SHOULD they?

Audi would not do something like this so the question is rather pointless.

My dad drove a station wagon. It's so not for me, no matter what you call it.

I would never buy an Audi.

It doesn't resemble the wood panels of station wagons of the past. I thought that was a uniquely American thing anyway. If you look at it as a two-tone color treatment, it looks too much like a service vehicle, such as taxi, police or airport vehicle in Germany.

Ford Flex is the one, woody wrap. Just sayin!

It's horrible of course but strangely I can't stop looking at it. I think the panel lines are well done - perhaps this could work as 2-tone paint instead of wood.

Looks like something you would see on Saturday Night Live or an old comedy 'Vacation' movie.
