This is probably worse for Ford than for Mazda as many of the recent successful Ford models were developed by Mazda. Both are under a significant competitive threat yet both have the potential and once in a while, the reality of coming out with really great cars.

Good now Mazda can be a good Japanese company again. Ford is still the number one at selling dumb trucks, which are not justified for 90% of people.
