WORLD EXCLUSIVE! First TOTALLY Uncovered Shots Of Kia's New K9! Hey 7-Series What's Up Dog?
As I've said many times before I'm a big believer that God loves Auto Spies because being in the right place at the right time as many times as the Agents are cannot be just coincidence.
Take today for example. Once again.
As I walked out of my meeting today and walked back to the Touareg Hybrid I was testing to my surprise was the all new Kia K9.
TOTALLY uncovered!
We've had exclusive shots of it caught on the road in the past partially uncovered.
But NEVER like this.
Let me just say one thing.
Close up and in person this thing is a STUNNER!
It had a good 'Karma', if you know what I mean.
Like rolling a lucky 7! ;)
Take a look at our exclusive photos and let us know your opinion.
LOVE those LED's!!!
Can't wait to see them at night!

The Escalade has had LED headlights for a while now, and they look much better than the ones pictured here. These LED headlights look like something designed from a hobby shop by someone wanting to make their own LED headlights.
Definitely some Genesis in the interior and the silly shifter looks just as silly as it does in BMWs.

The headlights remind me of what the Q45 radial LED headlights would have evolved into if the car were still in production.

In fact it looks a lot more like 7 than like a cadillac pal. But yes they are walking , they are jumping to the future in a very quick way...

Sorry, those headlights don't do anything for me at all. Maybe it'd be different in person, but nothing now.

Hey Kia, lucky for you, there are no plagiarism or copy laws you can be charged with since you completely RIPPED off BMW.
Don't you people have a single original idea in your little thieving pin heads?

I wonder how many parts are interchangeable between this dog and BMW...

It's still just a KIA and wouldn't pay the $40k+ they want for it. Save my money or go all out and get a real BMW instead of a fake one.
I'm curious to see how many of these things sell. I don't see too many Genesis coupes around, let alone the sedans. I did see an Equus the other day though, I think it broke down because it was on a flatbed and it had actual plates on it. Could have been a delivery I guess.

Ditch those headlight Kia. Actually not a bad looking car! Looks just like a 7 series BMW but with much better reliability!

hey, buddy, you're in a thread about a Kia. You keep bringing up BMW in threads unrelated to BMW and bashing them in every thread you can, and yet you're calling out someone ELSE for being biased? Hello, hypocritical much? Go sell crazy somewhere else.

sorry chuckles but you're wrong. If he was posting like a whiny douche about Audi or Benz in threads that have nothing to do with Audi or Benz, I'd have absolutely 100% said the same thing. Whiny douchebaggery is not limited to one brand.

ahhhhhh you mean when I correct the ignorant statements you make and actually point out the truth. Yeah, sorry about that. Stupid facts, always getting in the way.

Toyota and Honda are selling a lot better so perhaps the negative publicity from other outlets is having an effect.
My friend just forwarded me a link about the new Cadillac XTS. Why hasn't it been posted here yet? The Big Daddy is back and looks like its got the goods, except the wimpy sounding V6. Hopefully it gets an 8 or atleast a turbo 6. I sure as hell hope its built in the US though.

BMW up front
Lexus ES in the rear
Interior inspired by Infiniti, Audi and BMW
Instrument Cluster from MB
The airbag cover on the steering wheel looks cheaper than a Sonata.

This car is ugly and on top of its ugliness they've added the meaningless fender vents that the Buick started.

I see design cue from Lexus from the side and back, BMW design and Maserati as well. That's why I will NEVER buy a Hyundai or Kia.

Well I had "Brand Name" car insurance and my rates seemed a bit high. I was nervous about switching because I had pretty good coverage. I ended up switching companies and now I have the same great coverage for a cheaper price through "Clearance Auto"

Looks pretty darn nice to me. Thought Kia was an 'introductory car'. Whoa! This thing is gonna' sell like hotcakes. 'Give people what they want'.

What's with all the vitriol on this site?
Do y'all think the 'introductory market' is going to critique this like you do? 'Give em what they want'.

No Credit just a cheap and very disgusting copy from BMW,MB,Lexus,Maseratti grille even Buick vent idea also included very tacky ,and those wannabe cover on the classic xenon light pretend something special. Tacky and super bad taste creation, this remember me those Rolex at Chinatown ha ha ha.....I don't waste one penny in that abomination.

I know that all auto makers borrow ideas and design cues from each other but this is BLUNTLY A RIPPED OFF of BMW, Lexus, Maserati and other famous German cars design cue.
Let me see, front from BMW, Grille from Maserati, side and rear design from Lexus and that FAKE Ghetto Ass vent from Buick.
Anyone with Real Class would Not drive this. I sure wouldn't. Isn't there a law against copying and paste our auto makers designs?

designing cars is an art.. it kills me when companies like pontiac copy bmw ( g8/ m3 ) hyundai ( equus/ LS460)
why cant these POS car companies do their own thing ???
this is a total 7 series rip off !!
who will buy it ? the same clowns who bought chrysler 300's and made them look like bentleys..

Nice looking car. Two things KIA needs to do though: 1. Get a new emblem/logo 2. Remove that Buick looking, faux front fender vent.

Looks shamelessly like a 7 Series and gear shifter is a carbon copy of BMW design. Overall looks nice but i would have liked more original ideas.

Note to all Kia owners, from now on say you drive a K I A, sounds more like BMW. What a tasteless looking car.

I like the grille but everything else is kind of bland. The car looks outdated to me. More hard lines are needed. The wheels look cheap.
Overall, its not a bad car. But let's face it, if they were looking to make some noice like Hyundai (Genesis, Equus), this is a fail.

The headlights are probably not LED. The Prada edition Hyundai Genesis has similar headlights to give it the appearance of an LED, but are actually HID lights. The car looks good, but certainly not original in any aspect of design.

CAn you say....BIZZARO car?
The car looks interesting until you look through the driver's window and see in large letters K I A . That is the kiss of death.
