TEASED! Mazda Releases Its FIRST Video Clip Of The All-New Mazda6! Honda, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Hyundai, Kia - You've Been Put On ALERT
Over the past week there's been an onslaught of spy images surrounding the all-new Mazda6. Though it first has showed up as a wagon variant, we're likely to believe a sedan will show up first. Who knows, these days.

What we do know is that Mazda needs to turn itself around, fast. While its Mazda3 has done a pretty good job of keeping the brand relevant, it needs to upgrade its mid-size sedan so it's not an also ran. Hah, that rhymed.

Said to have taken inspiration from the Takeri Concept, the all-new 6 is expected to be a helluva a looker and performer -- it kind of has to be considering Mazda is involved with Laguna Seca.

Take a look at the FIRST teaser clip below and keep following us for the latest teasers to emerge from Mazda.

This is not the TAKERI concept car, it is the first glimpse of the all-new Mazda6. The Mazda6 sedan incorporates many of the stylish design cues from the widely acclaimed TAKERI concept car.

We will be bringing you more footage of this ground-breaking new model over the next few weeks so keep an eye on our channel.

The 1st-gen Mazda6 was a slick street car built on a very credible platform that also saw duty in Fords & Volvos. It was my wife's 1st new car - I drove the hell out of it thought - totally fun driver. I didn't much like the current Mazda6. There was not Mazdaspeed6 version or AWD option. It'll make a nice used car when aftermarket bits are added. Mazda never really made it exciting.

Mazda has a lot riding on this next version. It could potentially become their best seller or the latest disaster. But they can not fully depend on their new engine to pull all of the marketing weight. That TAKERI concept will have to be heavily infused in the overall design to really get the model noticed again. Hyundai/Kia had basically stolen much of Mazda's marketing "thunder" in the industry.

Why all the hate?! Mazda has the potential to truly shine and they produce driver-oriented, light, and well-handling cars. Styling subjectively could be better.

What is with all this "XXX needs to be put on alert" BS that goes on here? Every time a Korean or Japanese car company releases a new car, Honda and toyota apparently need to watch their backs…but they have yet to be toppled (during uninterrupted, normal production). Mazda, of all manufacturers, hasn't come anywhere close to being competitive in the midsize segment.
