The BMW M135i is the first BMW M Performance Automobile with a petrol engine. Watch the clip and see the 3-door and the 5-door version in action.

BMW M135i is powered by a 3-litre, straight six-cylinder engine and 235 kW/320 hp and 450 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The technology package includes a TwinScroll turbocharger, direct High Precision Injection with central multi-hole injectors, VALVETRONIC variable valve control and Double VANOS variable camshaft timing.

Sounds like a great drive, I have read nothing but good reviews for this car, and the 1 seris in general. Hopefully the 2 series coupe version brings some sleeker styling to the US.
